What is the need of KYC?


Financial Action Task Force (FATF) spotted the need for much effective guidelines for KYC. These guidelines were need of the hour to make the following acts more effective.

  • Combating Finance of Terrorism (CFT)
  • Anti Money Laundering act (AML)
Based on recommendations of FATF a circular was passed in the year 2004 and recently updated in 2009 that has set of norms, which banks had to follow for KYC.

What if I am not KYC compliant?

What are your fees that I will be charged for your services?


Investocafe does not charge you for its services. We get our payout from mutual fund companies in lieu of proving services to investors

Is my details and investments are safe?


Your personal details are absolutely safe with us and we will not share this with anyone apart from the regulators. The amount will get transferred from your bank account to AMC's mutual fund account directly and investments are always held with investors name.

Can I manage and transfer my investments on my own?


Yes, you can transfer your investments to other broker ARN by giving broker code change request and also you can give instruction to redeem, subscribe, change in address etc certain request to AMC simultaneously having association with Investocafe too.

Why to invest in the selected funds provided by Investocafe team?


These funds are selected on certain parameters like past performance, return, selection of assets by fund etc and their ability to perform in future in recent market conditions which help you in achieving your goal within the time horizon. You can also invest in other funds too if you wish to and for that you need to inform us in advance in which fund you wish to invest.

What if I wish to close my account?


Investocafe provides a continuous support to manage your online account and in case if you wish to close the same we can help you on that too. The investments will be in your name and can be kept ongoing irrespective whether you are keeping online account with Investocafe or not.
